Nabil Moo

Our guest for Episode 2 of SQAMB is Nabil Moo, who was a member of the experimental rock band I Set My Friends On Fire (or ISMFOF). Although no longer in the music business, Nabil and I recall the fast-paced early days of the band: from getting 50,000 plays per day on Myspace, to signing with a record label, to recording an album, to performing on multiple national tours. Nabil also talks about the differences he sees in the music industry now versus when ISMFOF released their debut album back in 2008. He also gives listeners advice on some of the issues musicians should consider when looking to form a band. It was a great chat with someone who has actually been out there as a working musician.
